The nxt BioFit foam wheelchair cushion is a multi-layer contoured wheelchair cushion that makes use of the most recent Visco Gel foam technology. By redistributing pressure across the entire sitting surface of the wheelchair cushion, the BioFit multi-layer design provides deep immersion and skin protection.
The BioFit is very reasonably priced and is designed for comfort and positioning for users who are at moderate to high risk of skin breakdown.

Protects the skin
The Visco elastic gel beads act to dissipate heat. This is critical for preventing skin integrity issues.
Reliefs pressure
The contoured compression cut base is optimally shaped to evenly distribute pressure under the pelvis while not putting undue strain on the tissue in the pelvic, thigh, and hip area.
Cushion Cover
This cushion includes an air mesh outer cover as well as a standard fluid-proof inner cover. The outer cover can be removed for gentle machine washing. The inner cover should be wiped clean with a damp cloth rather than removed.
